The Cancer Treatment Foundation encourages businesses to gift hope and life this Christmas!
For several years in a row, the Gift of Life Cancer Treatment Foundation is asking businesses all over Estonia to stop giving boring and useless presents, and instead gift hope, life and health to the Estonian people with a little donation. Meanwhile, the foundation offers surprises to place in the gift bags of corporate Santas.
"In the last five years we have been able to gift hope, health and life to more than 500 people, but in this year alone the number of people in need will reach over 200. The recent trend shows that more younger people, often in their 30s and 40s, mothers and fathers that still have children to raise and care for, are needing life-saving treatments.
We invite all Estonian businesses to give up buying useless and dull presents for their partners, customers or employees, and collectively give the gift of all gifts instead: treatment for cancer, give them more hope and precious time, and a chance to live," says Toivo Tänavsuu, founder of the Gift of Life Cancer Treatment Foundation.
Companies have a chance to address their donation into the general pot of the foundation, so to say, or to support a specific person's battle with cancer on a multilateral agreement.
For those businesses that would like to support the battle of cancer patients, but still wish for something to put in Santa's bag of presents, the foundation offers fund-raising reflectors and old-school waffles in cooperation with Vahvlihaldjad. Anyone can buy fund-raising Christmas cards from the foundation.
The founder of the foundation, Toivo Tänavsuu, and the CEO, Katrin Kuusemäe, are happy to come and give a thank-you speech at any corporate Christmas party, and talk more about the mission of the foundation.
Any business interested in charity can send an e-mail to info@kingitudelu.ee, and receive the best "Christmas offer" regarding the needs of your company.
