Circle K's Estonian Customers Support Cancer Patients with Nearly 5000 Euros

from July, all Circle K station checkouts in Estonia have the Gift of Life
cancer treatment foundation donation boxes at them, where customers can drop
their change or simply donate. Within the first three months nearly 5000 euros
was raised, which will be handed to the foundation this week.
"The hearts of our employees and customers go out to activities of the Gift of Life cancer treatment foundation," said Diana Veigel, the marketing manager of Circle K in Estonia. "What matters the most is that it allows us to do good with our customers and gather the many small contributions into a donation of considerable size. For our customers it is a very convenient and simple way to make their contribution for people fighting cancer, as the donation boxes are in every Circle K full service station all over Estonia and, of course, in Baltic Station convenience stores."
"But, in addition to our customers, our employees also donate for the charity – it is not uncommon for them to put their tip into the donation boxes," Diana Veigel added. "We thank everyone who has made their contribution and I hope that together we can give someone a very necessary opportunity and hope in the future as well in cooperation with the foundation."

"These boxes allow us to do good collectively and passively. Thus we can confirm today that within a mere three months, the customers and employees of Circle K have given one or two cancer patients in Estonia hope – a chance to live a fulfilling life, or even recover."
The foundation's donation boxes will remain at Circle K stations. The company's cooperation with the foundation extends even further: Circle K stations also sell the foundation's charity reflectors and the company covers the fuel costs of the foundation's volunteers traveling all over Estonia raising donations.
